Between March 29 and April 2, 2021, the National Integrity Authority (ANI) initiated the control of the assets of an investigation officer within the Internal Protection and Anticorruption Service (SPIA) of the Ministry of Interior.
Another control procedure concerns a possible conflict of interests admitted by the mayor of Causeni. Four conflicts of interest were found on an art school director from Drochia, mayors from two villages in Rascani and Ceadar Lunga districts and a former mayor from Sangerei district.
Three customs officers and a public servant from Cimișlia district were established to have violated the incompatibilities regime. Two contravention cases were started regarding a local councilor from Soldanesti and a mayor from Singerei district. They could be penalized for non-submission or late submission of declarations of assets and personal interests.
The head of Telenesti district declared another conflict of interests. Six conflicts of interest were also reported by the mayors of: Ștefănești village, Ștefan Vodă district, Chirca village, Anenii Noi district, town of Costești, Rîșcani district, town of Giurgiulești, Cahul district, Drăgușenii Noi village, Hîncești district and Carabetovca village, Basarabeasca district. Within up to three days, these subjects received several solutions from the integrity inspectors.
The ANI representatives organized an online training in which about 30 subjects of the declaration from the Academy of Public Administration participated. At the same time, 850 phone consultations were granted.
Just last week, over 11,000 declarations of assets and personal interests were submitted on the Public Portal of Declarations.
