Between September 26 and October 7, 2022, the National Integrity Authority initiated a control procedure on the legal regime of assets and personal interests regarding a mayor from the Ceadîr-Lunga district and a control procedure on the legal regime of incompatibilities, targeting a Councilor from the Singerei District Council.

The integrity inspectors verified 133 declarations of assets and personal interests of the subjects of the declaration, submitted for the year 2021. Also, 8 contravention cases were initiated on the aspect of not submitting declarations of assets and personal interests, targeting four councilors and four former councilors from the local public administration, and regarding a manager of a limited liability company, a contravention case was initiated on the aspect of non-presentation of data, at the request of the Authority, in order to exercise legal powers.

Two councilors and three ex-councillors from Căușeni districts (two persons), Dondușeni. Străseni and Taraclia were fined a total of 12,000 lei for not submitting declarations of assets and personal interests.

ANI representatives participated in 31 court hearings. The policy evaluation, prevention and implementation department granted 78 telephone consultations, including 41 calls to the Institutional Information Line.

ANI issued 19 Certificates of Integrity. The integrity inspectors resolved two conflicts of interest.
